Mia Sinclair – Ballet / PBT

BA (Hons), ARAD

Mia trained at the Dance School of Scotland and Central School of Ballet where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance. Mia also achieved ARAD status after gaining Distinction in her RAD Advanced Two Classical Ballet.

In 2010 she toured with Ballet Central’s UK touring company performing roles including: Knot Garden (Sara Mathews), Bass Danse (Kit Holder), School Girl in I Don’t Want To Set The World On Fire (Michael Pink) and Giselle’s Peasant Pas de Six.

In 2011 Mia chose to further develop her career teaching ballet in the vocational sector and was accepted on the prestigious LRAD teaching programme at the Royal Academy of Dance – London. In 2012 the Academy awarded Mia the ‘Iris Truscott’ Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding achievement on the course. She is now a fully qualified classical ballet teacher after completing her training in 2013.

Mia has been working at the Dance School since 2011 and really enjoys being part of the team.
