Martin is from Glasgow, where he began his training at the age of four.

Martin won Freestyle Adult Champion Dancer in 1997 and secured the title for three years.

From the age of seventeen Martin studied at Anniesland College.

He then went on to further his education and training at one of London’s most prestigious colleges, Doreen Bird.  Here he obtained a BA(hons) 2.1 degree in Musical Theatre and Performing Arts.

His dance credits include Bravo Mr Producer tour as a principle dancer where he worked with producer Geoff Garret, Costa Cruise Ships (where he was assistant Choreographer before going on to work as choreographer for the company), Qdos Pantomime (where he was dance assistant and worked with Barbara Nolan and Sid Owen), and was a featured dancer on adverts for Sky Music and MTV.

He has also performed with Charlotte Church and was Lady Gaga’s dancer’s assistant.

Martin modelled for the Nike American Fashion show, the Wedding Couture Fashion show and a Diesel jeans campaign.
