Lorraine Miller – Modern / Jazz / Gyrotonic

Lorraine trained at the Dance School of Scotland and went on to graduate with her Diploma from Laine Theatre Arts. During her time she obtained her ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern teaching qualifications with Distinction.

In her career as a professional dancer, Lorraine performed in a wide variety of musical theatre shows, including Aladdin (King’s Theatre), First You Dream, Sleeping Beauty and gained a broad experience of commercial shows, such as L’Oreal Hair Show, Cabaret Charity Shows and various trade shows.

She is also an experienced choreographer and was employed as such by the BBC. Lorraine’s real interest has always been in teaching and she has 10 years experience as a freelance dance teacher. During this time she has taught for Laine Theatre Arts, the Royal Academy of Dance and various private schools and colleges throughout Britain. She was one of the classical staff at Scottish Ballet Junior Associates for 6 years.

Lorraine is a fully qualified Gyrotonic Instructor which she teaches on both the Musical Theatre Course and Dance Course. Lorraine is also the permanent Modern and Jazz teacher on the Dance Course.
