Jacqui Stuart is an LRAD ARAD Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance. She trained from the age of 12 at Elmhurst Ballet School and at the College of Royal Academy of Dance. After graduation she had the opportunity to study with the Scottish Ballet prior to embarking on a teaching career.
Jacqui has taught extensively throughout Canada in the capacity of teacher / lecturer, working with young children through to professionals. Through her guidance an unprecedented number of her students successfully auditioned to further study at both the Royal Winnipeg and Banff School of Fine Arts. Former students have gone on to dance professionally with the National Ballet of Canada, Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Alberta Ballet, Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal and Rambert Dance Company.
Jacqui is passionate about working with young teachers both in choreographic composition and in preparation for Royal Academy of Dance teaching examinations. She has also been involved in the making of television documentaries with CBC ‘Dance in Canada’, and with CFCN ‘Promotion of Dance’.
Jacqui continues to guest teach at workshops and summer schools in classical ballet and choreography in North America, Asia, South Africa and Europe.
