Megan Peasgood – Ballet / PBT

Megan PeasgoodMegan began her training with Teresita Marsden, a former dancer with London Festival Ballet (dir. Anton Dolin). At the age of 16 she continued her training at Central School of Ballet before moving into the school’s touring company, Ballet Central. Whilst with the touring company, Megan performed the Bluebird pas de deux from The Sleeping Beauty, Neopolitan from Swan Lake, Waltz of the Flowers from Ashely Page’s The Nutcracker and Christopher Hampson’s Capriol Suite.  

Megan graduated in 2008 receiving a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Dance and Performance. 

Upon graduation, Megan has worked with Scottish Ballet and Ballet du Rhin as well as the touring companies Vienna Festival Ballet and Ballet Theatre UK. The latter of which, she was an original member of the company.   

During her performance career, Megan performed many notable roles such as Cinderella, Myrtha (Giselle) and Clara (The Nutcracker).  A few highlights for Megan from her career were performing Big Swans in Swan Lake, Cinderella in Cinderella and French Maid’s in Ashley Page’s The Nutcracker.

Megan has most recently finished her Masters of Education Learning and Teaching in the Performing Arts and looks forward to continuing her research in a variety of areas within the ballet and dance training field.
