Courtney Bailey Allan

A native of Albemarle, North Carolina, Courtney started her training in the US at Albemarle Academy of Dance and went on to win several scholarships and won the highest national award for her contemporary solo in 2003 in Las Vegas.

She then graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Contemporary Dance in 2008. She studied Jazz at Duke University with the American Dance Festival and Bates Dance Festival in Maine. Courtney furthered her studies in the Advanced Jazz program with the Dance Educators of America. She was guest Artist for the City Youth Ballet and is now a faculty member at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in the Musical theatre program.

Dance Credits include: STARZ TV series Outlander, BBCTV’s Ginge, Geordie, and the Geek, and three tours onboard Holland America cruise lines with Stiletto Entertainment.
